Karen Yates: Regional Sales Manager

Socialising at the Royal Liver Building

Karen heads up the team here at The Venue at the Royal Liver Building.

A proud Liverpool local, Karen has strong ties to the historic building, after growing up nearby in Formby. Karen said: “Working at The Venue at the Royal Liver Building is a dream for me and I’m delighted to have such an iconic venue in my portfolio. I’m also excited to be involved with Christmas Party activity at Aintree Racecourse where we will be delivering events for over 1,000 people per night. Becky Kennedy: Sales and Events Manager


Becky has a huge passion for events and extensive experience in the hotel industry working for the 5* Chester Grosvenor Hotel. “My favourite part of this role is being able to be a part of the event from start to finish. Taking the initial enquiry, understanding the client’s needs and helping to problem solve and then going on to deliver the event is always so rewarding”. Faye Connor: Sales and Events Manager

After studying a History degree at University, Faye fell into the Hospitality Industry where she worked her way up the ladder to Assistant Manager at Inglewood Manor, a prestigious 4* Manor House in Cheshire. It was here Faye realised her passion for Weddings and Events and gained lots of experience operationally running over 120 weddings a year.

Given Faye’s success at Inglewood Manor she was then head hunted to take on the role of Sales and Events Manager for a destination restaurant on the Wirral where she doubled event sales within the first year and put the restaurant on the map for weddings and events.

Faye had the pleasure of recently tied the knot herself and really enjoyed the organising and planning of her day. She is thrilled her role at The Venue allows her to continue helping other Brides and Grooms plan their special day. With her knowledge and experience Faye is on hand to provide lots of hints and tips for a Magical Wedding Day.

We are delighted to now have Faye as part of the Sales and Events Team as she brings a wealth of knowledge and hands on experience in venue operations, sales and events.
